Recon Risk was founded on a simple observation: as large insurance brokerages consolidate through mergers and acquisitions, small business owners are increasingly left without a real advocate. They get junior reps who don't know their industry and don't stick around long enough to learn it.
We exist to fix that. Twenty-plus years in commercial insurance — spanning underwriting and distribution roles at two national carriers, plus years on the independent retail broker side working directly with business owners — means we bring inside knowledge and carrier relationships most owners never get access to.
